When I first came to Cheryl, I was at almost the heaviest I had ever been. In Jan. of 2020 I was 304 lbs., when I officially started the Ideal Protein Program on April 20, 2020 I weighed 298.5 lbs. At the end of Phase 1 – 8 months later I weighed in at 190.3 lbs.!! I had lost a WHOPPING 108.2 POUNDS!

Prior to working with Cheryl, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and was going through active treatments to try and get it under control. During some of my appointments with the treatment team the topic of nutrition and diet came up and it was suggested that it should be something I take into consideration as the treatment continued. The concept of a low carb/sugar and high protein diet had worked well for Lyme patients in the past and in fact helped support the treatment of Lyme that I was receiving; instead of counteracting the treatment with the improper diet. At this point, I was just about at my breaking point in dealing with Lyme and I was ready and willing to try absolutely ANYTHING. I took the information that they gave me and started searching around for something that would fit the criteria. In comes Ideal Protein. WOW – glad I did. Not only did it meet everything they had suggested, it also seemed the easiest for me to adapt to in my shift worker life style. Never having a routine when it comes to meals and eating, waking up or going to bed and all different times.

When I reached out to Cheryl she responded very quickly and with A LOT of helpful and informative information. We talked about my treatments for Lyme disease. Cheryl was cautious in making sure that this program wouldn’t be a hinderance to my progress, she asked questions and got clarification on my diagnoses and treatment. She had reached out to the Ideal Protein specialists and obtained information specific to my unique situation; she went above and beyond in making sure this was done in a healthy safe way!

Once I started the program Cheryl was in contact weekly. Making sure I didn’t have any questions, asking how I was feeling and most of all giving those awesome texts of encouragement all along the way. Week by week – the numbers on the scale kept dropping and week by week I had seen improvements in my Lyme symptoms and treatments. I could not believe it – my friends and family couldn’t believe. It was one of those life changing moments. 8 months later, 108 pounds gone – went from a size XXL/XXXL shirt to L/XL. Went from a waist size 46-48 to a size 34-36, and now for the most exciting thing – for the first time in almost 2 years my blood work has FINALLY reached normal in range levels for my Lyme disease. Cheryl and Ideal Protein has had a big impact with this.

34 Lbs in 10 weeks!

I am a soon to be 50 year old sport oriented man. I have been on many other diets and for me Ideal Protein is not a diet, but an educational process on how to have a healthy way of life.

I am an active person and go to the gym at least 3 times a week and still didn’t get the results that I was looking for. I’ve been on Weight Watchers and many other programs and I have lost weight in the past, but never got rid of my ‘beer belly’ and I don’t drink beer! After being on Ideal Protein for 10 weeks I had lost 34 lbs, but had achieved something I never had before, I lost the belly!

Cellulite Gone!

Hi, my name is Kelly and I started Ideal Protein to lose about 10lbs, but mostly to sculpt myself a waistline again and get rid of some cellulite that had found its way onto my body! Being 41 I’d found my mid-section had expanded the last few years and I wasn’t happy about it. It took around 5 weeks until I got to a point where I was happy – I had lost a total of 9.25 lbs, but most importantly 7.75 inches.

I had a waistline again and I was happy to say the least! The program itself was easy to follow, the food was good and easy to prepare and it was nice having a coach to rely on for tips, support, recipe ideas etc. Even though I would like to think I’ve always been a healthy eater, the Ideal Protein program gave me back my waistline when exercise and healthy eating wasn’t working. I’m on maintenance now and have learned what I need to do to keep the weight / inches off… and I intend to!!

35 Lbs in 9 weeks!

Hi there, my name is Jason I’m 38 years old 5’9” tall and was overweight. I’d slowly gained the weight over the last 10 years due to bad eating habits, my love for beer and always finishing my kids meals. Well, that put me at 210lbs and I realized I needed to do something about it. I have always been active with sports (hockey, squash, kayaking), but nothing seemed to help. My job is active as well (auto mechanic) and still I was gaining weight. 2 ½ years ago I joined Weight Watchers and did lose 17lbs but after 6 months of meetings and slow progress I quit as I thought I could do it on my own. I ended up gaining 10lbs back.

I tried Weight Watchers again and this time it was worse, one week I would lose a pound and the next week I would put it back on. It was very frustrating so I gave up a 2 time. Then I was introduced to “IDEAL PROTEIN” and Cheryl explained to me how it works and how it would change my eating habits. She felt I would lose 25lbs in 7 weeks.

I was very sceptical, but I gave it a shot anyway. Well at 6 weeks I had lost 25lbs and after 9 weeks I was down a total of 35 lbs. It was a lot easier then I thought it would be. The first week was a little tough because I wanted to eat more than I was allowed, not because I was hungry, but I think it was out of habit.

The second week was better as I didn’t have cravings anymore, but I did find it hard to make my kids meals that looked good knowing I wasn’t going to have any. By the third week nothing phased me. You could walk by with a pizza and a case of beer and I wouldn’t even sigh. The best thing about the program was the weekly weigh in and seeing the rapid results in both pounds and inches. For the first 3 weeks I averaged just under 1 pound a day lost.

What took me 6 months on Weight Watchers to lose I was able to lose in under 3 weeks. I am now finished the program weighing in at between 165-170 and wearing a size 32 pants. I haven’t been this size since high school. Old friends and clients of mine tell me that I look great and ask what I did to lose the weight and I’m proud to say “IDEAL PROTEIN”.

36 Lbs in 12 weeks!

Happy & Healthy Transformation!

In July, 2012, my weight had ballooned and I felt sluggish and generally unwell. I knew I had to do something about my weight and eating patterns. I mentioned this to my friend Cheryl Chapman. She spoke to me about a program called Ideal Protein. At first I was a little skeptical, having been on the yo yo dieting pattern for most of my adult life. I took the information, read it and within a week called Cheryl asking for more information. We met and I decided to start immediately. This program made sense to me. I was a little worried that I would not be able to keep the weight off as this had been my pattern in the past, but embarked on this journey with a positive attitude and trust in what Cheryl was explaining.

I started Ideal Protein on July 13, 2012. I weighed 155.7 pounds. I am 5’2. I remember looking at my “before” picture thinking, “How did I let this happen?” However, I was grateful I was doing something about it finally.

The first 3 days on Phase 1 were difficult, as my body adjusted to the change in diet. I experienced headaches and nausea. I knew this might be part of the process and stuck it out. By the end of the first week, I felt much better. My energy started to increase, my appetite decreased and I can honestly say it was not difficult to follow the program. My body was being fed by real foods, vegetables and protein, and supplemented with vitamins. My head cleared. I was more productive. I chose to stick with the shakes and this strategy worked for me. They were good, they filled me and it was very very easy to follow the program. The weight and inches started dropping off. I lost a total of 36 pounds in 12 weeks on Phase 1. Unbelievable. I felt and looked so much better.

I entered Phase 2 and Phase 3, gradually reintroducing more foods and following the protocol to the letter. I found that I continued to lose weight. In total, I have lost 42 pounds. My daughter and I share the same clothes. I am more confident. And the best part? I finished Phase 3 the beginning of November. We are now mid December and I have not gained back one pound!

The support I received while on this program was excellent. The protocol is excellent. The food is good, and the right combination of vitamins helped to make following this program relatively effortless. This works, and I would recommend the protocol to anyone who is ready to make a positive change in their eating habits and weight.
